    Kibale NP /Uganda/

    area: 776 km2/300 mi2

Home to the most accessible chimpanzees of the Gorilla Highlands region, Kibale National Park in western Uganda is a popular travel destination. However, with its 13 species of primates, 325 bird species and 229 species of trees it has much more on offer than chimp tracking only.

It is worth noting that Kibale elephants migrate to and from Queen Elizabeth National Park situated situated to the south of it. Channels have been dug to separate them from people’s farms.
