Proud of Grace — Plus Cedric, Maani & Yvelise!
We can never express our heartfelt pride enough for our teammate Grace Neema who graduated today from Computer Networking at INES Ruhengeri! She enthusiastically applied to work for Gorilla Highlands Ltd and Gorilla Highlands Experts when her church colleague Mr Fred Munyeshyaka shared the news — and she was chosen to become the first office staff ever!
It’s purely coincidental that the director of Gorilla Highlands Limited lectures at INES, but not why he came to her graduation. He wanted to show her how important she was for the company, and pay tribute to her educational journey that had been filled with ups and downs for three long years of hard work!
We are excited for all that Grace is bringing to the table, but our excitement does not end with her! The other three trainees were also assigned important roles: Cedric will be our marketing man and a tour guide in Kigali (in fact, he is leading a Slovenian couple through the capital all by himself tomorrow!) Maani, on the other hand, has taken over our SEE AFRICA BREATHE AFRICA podcast as the producer and editor. In fact, with Yvelise as Kahiri’s new co-host two shows have already been recorded and they will be out in no time (Stay tuned! :).
We cannot wait to see how the Gorilla Highlands idea thrives in the days to come as our team steps up into new assignments and responsibilities! Fabulous things ahead!

[…] With his background in high school teaching, he was a natural fit for Youth Spaces. He met two winning teams and talked to future candidates. His questions were many and his love for Obama on full display! He also had an engaging session with our youngsters in training. […]
