Introducing SEE AFRICA BREATHE AFRICA Live Q&A and Podcast

On 12 October 2021 we are taking Gorilla Highlands Experts to the next level. Every Tuesday 6-7pm Rwandan time we will have our Zoom “lines” open for members to ask us anything in real time, to interact with our experts and to listen to cool discussions.
Each Tuesday will have its own topic, and the first one will be GH Mega Trek. You will get an update on the situation and be invited to express your preferences. We promised to have everything clarified by 12 October, so let’s simply do it live!
These sessions will be recorded and released as a weekly podcast called SEE AFRICA BREATHE AFRICA. This name is a nod to 20 years of our mother organisation Edirisa — we are borrowing its legendary slogan — but also pretty perfect for what we are trying to do with the podcast: unveil different levels of our gorgeous part of the continent. The target audience will be people around the world who know little about Africa, but are intrigued.
And what if a member doesn’t feel like having their questions or concerns broadcast around the world? All they are going to do is say “Incognito please”, and we will stop recording and be at their service. … But we suggest you use this privilege lightly. There are other people who may benefit from the answers you are seeking.
At the most basic level, this is the weekly hour when the engine of Gorilla Highlands Experts runs just for you! Miha Logar, your humble tour consultant under the volcanoes, will normally be joined by Joe Kahiri who is Uganda’s top musician living in Kabale, Ramadhan Sindayigaya who is Rwanda’s top chef working in Kigali and Katharina Lahner in Mexico who is our community manager. And there will be other experts chipping in!
We are going to have fun, join us!
